Your Initial Appointment
Dr. Brett Silverman and Dr. Darrell Morton invite you and your family to experience dentistry at its finest. As our patient, you’ll feel listened to and respected, regardless of your age and state of dental health. We’ve invested in the technology and tools to keep our patients comfortable while ensuring precision diagnostics and treatment.
Before you see the dentist for the first time, you’ll need to complete new patient paperwork. Find all the forms we need online here, or come early to your appointment and complete the forms in our office. The dentist will review your medical and dental history, relevant family history, and any records you bring with you.
Expect us to take digital x-rays at your first visit. The x-rays will show the dentist your teeth, including areas below the gums where the naked eye can’t see. Digital x-rays require less radiation than traditional radiographs, and they also provide more detail. We can zoom in on digital x-rays to see fine details, which helps the dentist diagnose issues.
After a comprehensive oral, head, and neck exam, and an oral cancer screening, the dentist will have ample information to develop a treatment plan. He’ll explain his findings, showing you where problems exist on your x-rays. Then, you and he together can determine the next steps to restore your mouth to optimal oral health, comfortable function, and one-of-a-kind attractiveness.
If you have questions about our policies, insurance, or financial options, visit the Patient Info section of our website, or give us a call.

We Offer These Dental Services Near To You
We take pleasure in offering our patients a wide variety of dental services, so we don’t always have to refer out to specialists. However, if you would be best served by a specialist, we will make a referral for you.
Our services include:
Preventive Dentistry
- Dental Exams
We believe the best dental care is preventive because no manmade substance can fully mimic the complexity of natural tissues. We strongly urge all of our patients to attend a comprehensive dental exam and cleaning every six months. Checkups allow us to inspect all of your hard and soft oral tissues, as well as your head, neck, and jaw joints. Your dentist will evaluate existing dental work and any damage that’s occurred since your last visit. After a checkup, the dentist shares his findings and recommends a treatment plan.
- Dental Cleanings
- Periodontal Treatment
- Antibiotic Treatment
At a dental cleaning, one of our experienced hygienists will assess your gums, looking for signs of periodontal pockets that form at the base of teeth. (Periodontal is the clinical word for gum tissue.) Periodontal pockets form when bacteria eat away connective tissues between teeth and gums. If you have these pockets, we will advise a deep dental cleaning to remove plaque and hard plaque (tartar) from at and below the gum line.
During a deep dental cleaning, also known as periodontal treatment, we also scale teeth roots, making them smooth. Without rough ridges, teeth roots have no place for bacteria to cling to. A deep cleaning may take more than one appointment. We can also administer antibiotic treatment to further destroy bad bacteria.
- Bruxism cessation
If you grind and clench your teeth when under stress or while sleeping, a bruxism guard will protect them from chips, cracks, and erosion.
We also offer these preventive treatments:
- Oral ID® oral cancer exam
- Sleep apnea/snoring cessation
- TMJ treatment
- Mouthguards, sports guards, night guards
Restorative Dentistry
- Composite fillings
- Dental crowns
Only 1% of people go through life without a cavity. The other 99% need restorative dentistry to treat decay and reinforce teeth harmed by chips, cracks, and enamel erosion. We prefer to place white fillings and crowns so restorations look natural.
- Fixed bridges
- Dentures & partials
- Dental implants
For teeth that are irreparable, dental prosthetics look, feel, and function like natural teeth. Traditional bridges, partials, and dentures rely on natural teeth for stability. Alternatively, they may be attached to dental implants for the most long-lasting treatment option. Implants are independently anchored to the jaw. They don’t rely on natural teeth for support.
- Orthodontics
- Endodontic treatment/root canal therapy
- Crown lengthening
